Dear Self,
Just like that, it is the last lap of your twenties and you clock three decades in this earth! Born in the most extraordinary situation and through that God keeps revealing you were indeed planned for (Jeremiah 29:11). A queen who from an innocent age acknowledged the existence of a supernatural power that is more powerful and protective than your earthly father. You have seen this Father literally hold your hand since that innocent age to date. Walking through the fire and instead of burning, you have gotten refined, this continues.
Reflecting on your living so far, from the fire, you have had scars – some have disappeared and others have remained to always remind you of some lessons that only experience can teach. You have had your shortcomings, continue to do, but you continue to strive to be better because growth is inevitable. You intentionally continue to seek this God you discovered at that innocent age and He keeps reassuring you of His love, mercy, faithfulness and protection. I mean, He has definitely fought for you some battles that your eyes did not even get to see. He continues to do that and for that, He can only be your G for life- literally, Psalms 91 in action.
You are a LEO babes. You ooze fire of boldness, confidence and self-assurance. YOU ARE A QUEEN. You always step into the world as the light you have been called and ordained to be (Matthew 5:13-16). My daily prayer is for you to be just that all the days of your life. Please continue living each day intentionally to honour this, that is who you are. #wink
As an adult, with the understanding of Proverbs 31 woman, I have seen you strive to be that woman each day. I must confess it is not easy to match up with her but you gracefully keep trying. My greatest wish for you in your last lap of your 20s is to continue being the woman that God created you to be. Moreso, you are the Sarah of your generation- called to mother a blessed lineage where kings of peoples will come from. In short, you are the author of a generation that begins with you. How powerful and cool!
